Africa Fintech Foundry Drives Innovation with the Justice Tech Accelerator 2025
Innovating law and scaling impact in Africa.

Strategic Partnerships
The Africa Fintech Foundry (AFF) is proud to announce its expanding commitment to driving scalable impact across Africa, moving beyond its core focus on fintech to embrace civic and legal innovation through the Justice Tech Bootcamp & Accelerator 2025. This strategic partnership, executed alongside JusticeTechNG and Arravo Technologies, is accelerating the most promising startups into sustainable and impactful enterprises aimed at improving access to justice and legal efficiency.
A 5-Month Journey to Impact
The Justice Tech Accelerator is a comprehensive five-month program designed to identify, nurture, and scale high-potential startups from the initial idea stage to investment readiness. The current phase is the Accelerator Phase, where the top 10 startups selected from the Bootcamp are engaged in a focused 12-week capacity-building program.
The program's structure is divided into four main stages, culminating in a Demo Day: - Pre-Acceleration (4 Weeks): Focused on recruitment and selection through a Call for Applications.
- Bootcamp & Diagnostic (1 Week): Involves onboarding, assessments, and a Pitch competition to select the top 10 innovations.
- Accelerator Phase (12 Weeks): The core of the program, focusing on capacity building and product development.
- Demo Day & Post-Program (Ongoing): Dedicated to visibility, investor access, alumni growth, and follow-on funding.
The Accelerator's Foundational Pillars
The 12-week Accelerator Phase, which was launched in September 2025, is structured around four key pillars leading up to the Demo Day in November and Post-Program Support in December:
1. Orientation & Design Phase: Includes program setup, mentor matchmaking, and workshops on the Justice Tech Landscape, Design Thinking, and Business Modelling. Startups submit their Founder's Profile, Startup Brief, Problem-Solution Validation Document, and refined business model.
2. Build Phase (Current Stage - Week 7): Focuses on crafting a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). This phase includes workshops on MVP Development, User Testing, and Data Ethics, along with 1-on-1 mentorship and peer-to-peer product feedback sessions. Milestones include submitting an MVP Canvas/Wireframe, MVP Build Plan, and evidence of MVP Testing.
3. Pitch Phase: Includes Investor Pitch Masterclasses, Policy and Partnership Engagement Sessions, and Pitch Deck Reviews. Startups are required to submit their Pitch Deck, a draft MoU or partnership proposal, and proof of regulatory compliance.
4. Demo Day & Post-Program Support: The program culminates in a Demo Day, where founders showcase their innovations to investors, justice institutions, and ecosystem partners. Post-Program support offers continued mentorship, access to funding clinics, and integration into the AFF alumni network.
